AIA 2017 Library of the Future

The American Institutes of Architects (AIA) held a design competition where students were tasked to design a library since the digital era is making physical books obsolete. The plan is to activate the site by making a multi-purpose library that is community oriented. Maker spaces, info exchanges and a more natural pavilion design will improve creativity and attract the community to the site.

This project received honorable mention in the advanced category.
