SkillsUSA Career Pathways Showcase: STEM

The Competition

SkillsUSA Georgia held a competition where students have to showcase their school’s career preparation program to their community and industry. Students will develop a learning-based project that relates to the STEM field and how it will benefit their school, industry, or community with a focus on their career preparation.

The Idea

The idea was to display Patrick Wright’s cigar box guitars and how they inspire the community to use their resources to make new things. This project relates to STEM as it uses wiring and electricity and the overall construction of the box.
